This is the documented journey of a single mother with her 10 year old through his year of battling a rare cancer. I tell you up front so if you'd rather not, you won't be suprised and check it out.

This - is photojournalism. It is real. It will stay with you. It will touch you. Some of you won't make it through all of them. Some of you won't allow yourself to be touched. There are captions to the photos, though the first time I saw it, I didn't read them and didn't "need" to.
It has stayed with me for two days and this morning, when Alex woke me up at 5:15 am (unusual) and over and over every half hour just because he had gotten up early that day - it was a bit more bearable.
I showed it to my husband who went into tears (and he doesn't do "that").
Remember just how blessed MOST of us are.
I don't know that I could ever be a photojournalist - I am not sure I could take it.
On a lighter note - Alex and I played "mommy/tot" basketball at the YMCA today - our first class - more on that later. :)
